چکیده
A Structured-Light Enabled Nonlinear Interferometer In article number 2200967, Zhi-Han Zhu, Xiao-Peng Hu, Bao-Sen Shi, and colleagues describe a structured-light enabled nonlinear interferometer capable of superresolution measurement in real time. Such novel technique realized the first observation 12-photon de Broglie wavelength time by using only low-cost detector, providing promising new way for development interferometric metrology.

Diamond photonics platform enabled by femtosecond laser writing
Diamond is a promising platform for sensing and quantum processing owing to the remarkable properties of the nitrogen-vacancy (NV) impurity. The electrons of the NV center, largely localized at the vacancy site, combine to form a spin triplet, which can be polarized with 532 nm laser light, even at room temperature. The NV's states are isolated from environmental perturbations making their spin...

and Introduction: Superresolution microscopy is an imaging technique capable of resolution beyond the diffraction limit [1]. One way to overcome the diffraction limit is by imaging a sparse group of fluorescent molecules so that none or only a few of the neighboring molecules emit photons simultaneously. By repeating this process, an image can then be generated by precisely localizing all the m...

The use of vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) arrays for implementation of incoherent source superresolution is presented. The method uses an interferometer setup to obtain superresolution in a single step. The novelty of the method relies on the use of a VCSEL array as the light source, which provides a set of coherent sources which are mutually incoherent. The technique accomplish...
متن کاملVisible to Infrared Diamond Photonics Enabled by Focused Femtosecond Laser Pulses
Diamond’s nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers show great promise in sensing applications and quantum computing due to their long electron spin coherence time and because they can be found, manipulated, and read out optically. An important step forward for diamond photonics would be connecting multiple diamond NVs together using optical waveguides. However, the inertness of diamond is a significant hu...
